Its funny that Cook has been consistently slagged on this board - yet anyone who's had a any personal contact with him have similar stories to yours of him being a good guy...

I'm delighted to see someone at the club doing right by supporters on a personal and one to one basis...

I can't imagine Ali Mac EVER doing something like this...

Gary Cooke is a top Man , Didn't have to do what he did and i doubt very much other CEO from Premiership Clubs would go to such lenghts ........

I like these forums, they have a good feel about them. If we are to build a succesful club we all need to pull toghether, Cook and Hughes need our full support and if they get it we will be a better club for it. I like the fact we can voice our opinions and hopefully they will be taken on board.

For those of you that attended the Fans Forum last week , i was the Bloke who was successful in the Uefa Ballot for Uefa Cup Final tickets ( at a cost of £200 ) You may recall that I asked the Panel ( Cooke , Hughes , Zab and Kompany ) if they were prepared to compensate me by getting me a ticket for the Swamp.

Without going into too much detail , Gary Cooke personally called me the following day and sorted me out

Result and Performance aside I had a wicked Day , Complemented by a free Bar

Spent 15 minutes pre Match chatting to Stuart Pearce ( who had us losing 3 – 0 – how wrong he was…..)

Half time trying to persuade Kia Joorabchian to bring Carlos Tevez to Eastlands ( it was the longest piss I’ve ever had )

And a good hour ( until the Bar closed ) consoling a distraught Ricky Hatton who was as gutted as I was with regard to the performance , more so than the result.

Gary Cooke is a top bloke and I thank him again ( he does frequent this website ) for a Brilliant experience , For softening the blow of losing £200 and proving once again that MCFC is a peoples club.

Clarkey you jammy bastard! Garry Cook will have you as backroom staff with the board of directors next season, and i'll be stood outside the ground when we lose 3-1 to Burnley leaving us languishing in 9th place, even though we will have signed Kaka Tevez and Johan Cruyff in the summer, and i'll be chanting "CLARKEY OUT! CLARKEY OUT!" ;)

If Garry Cooke wants to bring me in on any Tevez negotiations then he has my Number ......I've already put the Wheels in Motion and if he does sign in the summer it will be down to my chance chat whilst taking a piss next to Kia Joorabchian .......Funny

I dont see the problem with Hatton being there where he was neither, there was a point in the game where it went to Rio as he was clapping something Fletcher did (that he didnt even have to break a sweat to do might i add) and you could see Ricky sat there bubbling with anger a little bit inside!
What do people expect!? Hatton to be in the away end with us lot with his top off nearly getting arrested!? He's a celebrity, a star, a superstar to people in England and not just City fans - the whole country loves him! he has to go and sit up in them places as he was probably invited by United to do so, what's he meant to do spoil his impeccable reputation by saying "fuck off no way am i sitting there!" ??
