Strange one, most city fans will either be at the game or watching it so how many notifications outside of that do we need?

If im not at the game or watching, i have alerts turned on my phone from citys twitter plus many other apps (bbc, sky sports, betting companies etc etc)

Plus in the future i will very likely get an apple Watch so i can view things on there.

City will likely be one of the first entrants into many “daft” realms in the coming years as the only thing worse than failing these days is being the late adopter

Ha, yeah I probably got out of bed on the wrong side this morning. The advert’s prettt annoying and the product seems overpriced, but each to their own. If people find it a useful device then fair enough. Still not having that “it’s the best thing the club have ever done” though!

I personally do not think a separate, unnecessarily specialised band is a good business model, though, given many supporters already have a “smart” activity tracker or watch (which does many other useful things) that the club can also present the same content on. I am still waiting for a half decent City app experience (and interesting features that would pull me away from better football apps) in general, much less on my Apple Watch, so I won’t be buying this.

I remember doing a survey about this and genuinely thinking it was a wind-up.

Of all the terrible ideas, this ranks pretty high IMO. The suits at our club continue to confirm just how out of touch they really are.

I tested the Fanband before it was released. ItsI for fans who cantc get to the games. It also reminds you when a game is starting and you can ask questions of the club directly. There are quizzes than can be done and fan surveys. Also all the club news is sent straight away. Until the end of August it is half price and MCFC have exclusive rights for two years before it is released to other clubs.

‘Twas only a joke, mate. I always make it as I actually know someone who has a Fitbit and an Apple Watch (either wrist), and wears a chest strap heart rate monitor when he runs/plays football.
