Now. I could be completely wrong here but something thats been bothering me for a while now considering how the relocations have been handled I wonder if they have considered what happens in the future. After two e-mails and a text from the club and the website extending the move to the Northstand as if they're doing us a favour (Wacky Warehouse End) as I have an adult and child season ticket in the Eaststand which I have no intention of giving up! and the child will become an adult/16-18 in two years anyway

If/when all the season tickets sell out for next season and if/ when we eventually put some silverware in the cabinet next season the waiting list for season tickets will be even greater the following season.

Now heres the issue you sit in the Noth Stand which is supposedly Parent/child under 16 throughout

Your child turns 16 and you get the inevitable letter from the ticket office you have to relocate where too? when the rest of the ground is sold out as I am led to believe from the first season at Eastlands we can only sell a maximum of 40,000? approx due to away fans segregation and percentage on a match to match basis.(Could be even less) I know the idea is to extend the capacity but thats potentally two/three years from completion at a guess possibly even more.

They have a cap on season tickets of 35k as is known, so I presume that there would be other empty seats around the stadium. And you're not really going to get 10k moving out of the family stand at once.

I understand that but they will expecting to replace the movers will other parent/child season ticket holders I would imagine

That Maccblue, is why people have decided to pay more for child's tickets in other parts of the ground rather than move to the NS.

You will get a seat but it will be a "low demand" one.

You will probably have a percentage that don't renew year on year and I imagine you will have priority over any waiting list.

They will open renewals for everybody, once that window shuts, you will probably have your window to relocate to another part of the ground as per Family Stand rules and then finally they offer any remaining ST's to the waiting list until the max number of ST's allowed is reached.

I don't think he was referring to the fact 10k+ fans would be moving at once, i think it was more about how it would be difficult to find 3 or 4 seats together.

From next season if you do not stand up and sing all the game (and stay till the end) you will have your season ticket taken off you this will free up season tickets for the kids coming out of the north stand

fingers crossed this !!
plus a percentage must drop off each year for whatever reason

I believe there is between 1-2k not renewing every season, so new seats elsewhere in the ground will always be available and I assume the club will always give priority people in the situation as you described. I'd also like to think that if there's no where to move to they'd allow you to stay where you are, i seriously doubt they'd simply kick you out.
