As a driving examiner I would say that cheapest s NOT always best. It can be better to Pay a little more have fewer lessonsand pass first time than go for lots of cheap lessons and half a dozen tests.

The problem is in some areas there is not enough work for Instructors .Firms like RED & Bill Plant have flooded the market .with outrageous offers ,& claims Instructors desperate for work are involved in Price Wars all over the country in a bid to ge tnew pupils

So it is you who leaves those business cards in telephone boxes advertising private lessons,Sue.
That basque and crotchless knickers in the picture are most alluring,if a tad draughty.

I was wondering myself if she actually read the name of the thread wrong, but i cant come up with what it possibly could be.
