The riots that started off in Tottenham were shocking but soon died down with intervention. These will too.

It's come back to me. It was the good citizens of Canvey Island who were interviewed (the Leave vote was nearly 73%, incidentally). Wherever they live in Essex, hope it's not there.

It's not, we're further inland, though my wife works in Essex NHS Trust and travels to places like Clacton and Southend. She is really on the front line out there trying to help people. So you can probably understand why this stuff makes her nervous.

We live along the commuter vein out of London going through Chelmsford and Colchester. As long as you stick close to where London commuters live it's a little better, still Conservative suburbia but doesn't suffer from a lot of the deprivation that's found in the coastal regions.
