I just find when I speak to left leaning people they tend to get upset if you dont agree with them.

To be fair a huge study has proven that to be true in general terms, but as blue moon countered it is still better to be stupid and happy, stupid and fearful not so...

That's bloody bang on! No matter how esoteric the subject might be.

If people think another is banging a drum, they tend to steer clear. Nothing at all against the Op, this philosophy of life and how to 'govern' / live it, is not really welcome it seems. It is a sign of a content country or popultion, which is the main thing anyway. I mean to say.. 'it is working well enough'
