For those who remember in about 1984 Billy McNeill signed a not so lightweight from Scotland called Duncan Davidson. He was a real porker. My memory of him was he looked as though he had drank a gallon and eaten fish and chips when he took to the field. He also scored the winning goal against Swansea at Maine Road.
I always rate him and another Scot called Gordon Dalzeil signed roughly around the same era in my all time City worst eleven.
