Maybe because Franny Lee was challenged vertically he appears to look the fattest in a city kit. But Rodney Marsh was prone to outbursts of obesity and some Saturdays my jaw would drop at the girth of the weeks indulgences, Marshie carried onto the pitch .It never stuck on Rodders ,though like it did on franny.

Anybody over 50 will remember Tony Coleman, Sorry dont have a pic but if memory serves me well he was prone to the odd pie or three lol, As for other teams Tommy Lawrence LFC was so fat he even had a song about him anyone remember it ?

Other teams, I remember Stoke at Maine Road in the late 70`s, their second half substitute came on and seriously he was built like Eddie Large, everybody just laughed like fook, just looked like they were a man short and just grabbed someone from the local boozer to step in.
