Faulty cash machines

On tuesday a cash machine I was withdrawing from kindly got jammed and kept my £260.00 as hard as I tried to open it, it wouldnt budge.

I rang the bank who said they would request it back for me. The machine is now working again but I still havent received any money back

Has this happened to anyone and how long did it take to get your money back ?

Happened to my Wife and because the money was counted out but never actually came out of the machine we never got it back, the next person using it probably got it.

same thing happened to me last saturday got £100 out it all jammed up and kept my card,so i thought the next 1 to use the machine will get my £100 out so i hang around for a bit and this young bird came up and used it and it did the same to her and she started moaning at me saying i could have told her before she used it,like i give a fck if it swallowed her card as well i was only bothered about my money.Anyway it never took it out of my account

Did you ring your bank because they have to open a dispute for you the shopkeeper rang the bank of the cash machine and they could see on their screen that the machine had jammed

You'd be surprised, but all you had to do was warn her about what has happened to you incase it also happened to her, instead of being so selfish.

Yeah we rang the bank, the camera only shows the faces of people using the machine and not of the actual transactions..........grrrrrr.
