Rising Damp is the best imo, I've got the box set with every episode they ever made amazed me to learn they only made 27 show plus a Christmas special, still it was brilliant, in fact Leonard Rossiter was an acting genius.

For me 'Rising Damp' is amongst the greatest sitcoms of all time ...... the laughs per minute ratio is comparable , if not better , than any of the great comedy shows.

Tha main character 'Rigsby' is unforgettable , and is probably Leonard Rossiters greatest ever part .... but the supporting cast is as good as any you'd find anywhere.

Comedy genius at its very best ......
