Really. I thought it was a brutal take on the art of pugilism that was realistic from start to finish. I still wonder whether rocky and Apollo really went for it and were not acting.

Don't know how to put up a YouTube vid, but the pool hall fight scene in Scorcese's Mean Streets, when the big fat fucker calls the young De Niro and Keitel "mooks" is the best ever. Funny as fuck, great camera work and ace soundtrack.
