Favourite accent

I love a soft Mancunian accent - though any Mancunian accent is "coming home" for me as dad had one.

I like Geordie accents too (of course) and (sorry) Yorkshire ones. (That cricket commentator (John someone) has the most wonderful voice/accent.) A gentle Irish accent is lovely as well.

I don't like cockney-type, Liverpuddlian or Brum accents much and I'm not fond of some of the coarser American accents.
