how about fig rolls, who's partial to em? very nice but too many & you need the toilet

I spent a Summer holiday at CWS Biscuit Works at Crumpsall making fig biscuits. 28lb slabs of fig from Turkey and a yellowy paste for the outside. I'm still partial to a fig biscuit!

Mmm, dark chocolate ginger brings back memories of corky's starfish, that was a best seller too. Especially at the back of Piccadilly station.

Kendal's Food Hall used to be the place for a gorgeous Dark Chocolate Ginger Biscuit.

It was fully covered in high quality choc and the biscuit was full of spicy ginger loveliness.

A bit expensive but definitely worth it.
