kompany,every time i watch the lad play he seems to get better.We have conceeded 3 goals this season in 7 premier league games,any decent side is built from the back,and Vinny will be a rock for city for many years to come.
Couldn't not give Tevez a mention though,plays the game with a passion and commitment we used to as kids.

A close call between Vincent Kompany and Nigel de Jong.
VK:
Came to the club and played in midfield and has reverted to the defence, comfortable in both areas. Always talking, organising, motivating other players. Always plays well, i've never seen him have a bad game, yes he's made mistakes but he will play well for 89minutes around that mistake. Looks like he enjoys being here with us and gives 100%. Came to Wythenshawe Town FC early this year and spoke for an hour to the Baguley and Brooklands OSC and spoke really well. Great bloke, top player. Could be captain.
NDJ:
Hard, tough, no nonsense player. Keeps the ball blue, if the opposition doesn't have the ball they cannot score. Plays 100% every game, never lets us down. Never seen him have a bad game. Always talking, organising, motivating other players. When a tackle needs making, he makes it and wins it. He salutes the fans for our support more than any other player. He looks like he enjoys playing for us. And he always slags of the Rags in the build up to a derby! Could be captain.

Tough choice. VK is class an there are a few more unsung heroes too, but for me has to be AJ. Just know something is going to happen when he gets the ball. Have that childish but thrilling feeling that he'll be the one to score the goal. You know, the one that wins us a cup or the league.
