Bernard Manning. I saw him a few times at The Embassy back in the day but his finest moment had to be on Parkinson when he destroyed that hypocritical woman Esther Rantzen.

If you watch the "ungagged" clip on Page 1, at the end there is a link to that interview. Her smug, patronising mannerisms as she attempts to vituperate Manning in the style of Margaret Thatcher are just pitiful.

Can someone put up the George Carlin 10 Commandments scene? His brilliance shines through.

Probably my favourite stand up on balance but for some reason this doesn't really hit home with me. I absolutely adore his dissection of modern language and how it has changed.

This isn't the scene that I want and I think is an audio recording of his book, bu it sort of fits:

I'm after the opening of one of his shows where he uses many cliched terms in opposite to each other, I'm tuned in but not switched on type idea. I think it was his second to last HBO show IIRC but I can't find the Googlable terms

I have them all Damo, if you remember which one tell us and i'll upload it to youtube or send you the file.

What a stunning bit of comedy that is. I adore that type of language play. I'd appreciate a zip file though that I could download overnight from you without a manager?

Seen a lot of Irish comedians and my god some talent about comedy wise.

Dara O Briain the last comedy gig I went to a few weeks back amazing truely funny and on the spot he is the best I seen him getting heckled by seaguls haha just makes me laugh.

David O Doherty class on his keyboard and well worth a look random and funny at times.

Jason Byrne average compared to the 2 above. Seen a small set from Tommy Tiernan brilliant if you like that sort.

PJ Gallagher back touring again and is a breathe of fresh air well worth a look at Edinburgh or anywhere in the UK if he is touring.

I want to see Dylan Moran from black books heard his stand up is amazing.
