Favourite countries?

Which are people's favourite countries, maybe somewhere youve been, somewhere you admire, or somewhere you cant wait to go?

For me its Japan...I was raised on the thrilling video games of inventive Japanese companies like Sega and Nintendo, thats when my interest in the country first sparked. Later I discovered Japanese movies like Battle Royale and Ringu, so great and so different to Hollywood at the time.

Ive been fortunate enough to visit, and it was everything Id dreamt of...the Bladerunner style Neon-lit cities are thrilling, and so are the quiet temples and shrines, and the beautiful gardens. The transport system is amazing, crime is low, people are incredibly polite. Makes the heart sink to come back home!

I always try to spread the word about City when Im there...the Premiership has a huge following there, and I do my best to steer people towards supporting City.

Spent some time in Japan myself mate.....(ex is Japanese) amazing place. As contrasting and confusing as all the cliches say, but it really is a fantastic place.....loved it up in the north best. Hokkaido, and the city of Sapporo. Some beautiful scenery up there....very mountainous and rugged.

Also love America. Fave area is the Southwest....Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada etc. Just love the deserts really. So alien to all we, as Brits are used to. Hoping to get back and drive around Texas next....

Used to live in california,just off venice beach,1990/92,crazy place maan,our kid still lives out there in santa monica,hes been there since 87/88. When i go back out there,hopefully this crizzy for 2 week,having my beliefs that i have now,i will defo spend a couple of days around or as close as i can get to,Area 51,and the underground base(s) at Dulce,new mexico i think it is,there was a shootout underground a few years ago,construction workers were killed,you can google it.

Portugal, I love their laid-back attitude. Spent a lot of time over there in the early 90s, staying in little villages with mates who were doing hash runs to Morrocco and selling time-share villas.

scandinavia for me, they have a real laid back attitude and have a very british fair play way about them. you never see them cheating in the footy, and they like a booze and a laugh.

Get yourself to Oman mate. Im out here working at moment and the drives out into the desert are supposed to be the best anyway, total off road and camping! plus you come accross these wadis (huge natural lakes in middle of desert) totaly secluded and you can have a dive in and a shower under the waterfalls! im not that into it like but since being out here has made me bit more adventurous!

Fave place of all time has to be Koh Samui in Thailand though, so so nice! cant wait to get back and live there for good!! japan aswell though, still want to visit there, tokyo mainly!
