Been a few times ... always stayed in Skala Errososs (yep the Lesbian resort of choice) but have driven all over it ... liked Molyvos and tiny Sikemenias (Sick on me knees) A shame to imagine the state parts of I will be in now ...Was lesvos but think it's going to be a few years before it gets back to normal

Luxury!When I'm skint it's Boggart Hole Clough. When I've a few bob it's Heaton Park.
Before we got the kids(as opposed to had, as both were adopted), Cala Millor/Cala Bona in Mallorca.
With the kids (who both agree), a campsite in France called Les Charmettes in the Charente Maritime department.
Never travelled outside Europe - no intention to.

We've been back several times for a day out when in the area - it's changed considerably since those halcyon days. Also, on the way back from Barcelona to Heathrow after the 3-1 defeat, we passed over the area and I mentioned the site to the guy sat next to me. He said he'd been there as well!

We were there in June, '87. Mine are now 33 and 29. They were 4 and 1. We got in a brand new mobile home (I'm calling it a mobile home in case the Didsbury BlueMooners think it was a caravan) - still had the sticky labels on the fridge! Oh, and the Tiger Club. We went up and down the western and northern coasts of France following the Tiger Clubs! Happy days!

Agree with this.Mauritius is heaven. Villamoura best for golf trips in Europe.
That or The Maldives.

Depends on criteria - years ago lads holidays - usual destinations - my kids think Kenya on Safari was the best - cruise in Caribbean for me (been 8 times so far).

You must have been the trailblazer that we followed. We did the same for many years after, until the girls "grew up".
