Favourite goal ever?

KdB in the Bernabeu is rapidly becoming my favourite ever City goal. I was in the away end and didn't realise what absolute screamer it was. Saw it fly in and we all just went mental. A mate put it on our WhatsApp group for us. While we were being locked in singing Rio is a wanker as BT were doing their post match obituary.

One of my favourites .......................

Neil Young - F A Cup Final against Leicester

I was on the terrace behind that goal
Alan Oakes 1-2 got beat against Swindon lowest crowd ever at Maine Road. I was there with my Dad rip
That's just coming back to me. it was one helluva a shot!.

I always tell the neighbours in CBL3 that I don't trust left footers to take a pen but I wouldn't have minded either Oakes or Young taking one!

Not going down the importance route here, as obviously rodri and aguero top that. I'm gping purely on beautiful goals.

Growing up it was kinkladze vs Southampton without a doubt.

Jensens goal vs leeds always sticks in the memory too.

As does a goal by Griffiths I believe against ipswich. The goal wasn't all that memorable itself but the skill from Rocastle that led to it was utterly mesmerising as a young kid.

Speaking of Ipswich, Benarbia corner to berkovic to volley in from the edge of the area is another.

Bit later on at the Etihad there was a Musampa goal vs the dippers, just a supremely classy controlled volleyed finish from the edge of the box, the technical skill to do that was always very underrated.

Couple of Elano wonder goals,

A Michael Johnson beauty with the outside of his foot,

a tevez 40 yard freekick I believe against stoke possibly for his hattrick.

Aguero rounding Reina and sticking it in from practically the corner flag.

So many more I could easily rattle off.

If we're talking quality, it's either the Sane goal away at Arsenal in 17/18 or Bernardos volley away at Villa in 21/22.

For emotional resonance, it has to be Aguero in 2012.
Both absolute quality. Put Sane's goal away at West Bromwich in there. Didn't we have the ball for about 60 passes from kick off and scored before they'd touched the ball.

Missing the obvious ones

Trevor Francis v Wolves circa 81
Cocknose v rags 89
Kinkladze v Southampton
Goat/Neville
Yaya cup sermi v rags
Silva/Dzeko 1-6
Nasri v Chelsea (Tevez redemption)
Yaya LC14
Aguero v Watford header
Sterling v Soton 17/8 "THAT WINS TITLES "
Yaya v Villa 14
Kompany v Leicester
KDB/Haaland 6-3 rags
KDB opener v Arsenal 4-1

Dickov v Gillingham. It had been a horrible week after they had won the treble, and we were losing in the playoff final with minutes to go. It felt like it couldn't get any worse and we were probably on the precipice as a club. To say I went mental when he scored is an understatement.

A few have mentioned Yaya's against Sunderland in the cup final but actually our second goal that day scored by Nasri is one of my favourites. Just seem to remember the place going mad when it went in. And it was a lovely finish on its own.

So many to choose...
One that sticks in my mind is:

League Cup at Emirates, arse get a corner, De Jong clears, Džeko brakes away, finds Johnson who controls and flicks the ball in Kun's path. 1-0.

Brilliant from City.
Think that was our 1st win at arsenal since 1975. So that goal was extra special to me.
Roberto Mancini was no lover of reputation or history ..as utd find out to their cost
Which brings us nicely to the sick swan ...
