Favourite holiday location?

Went on a business trip to Chicago as my mate was exhibiting some stuff there. He paid for everything. It was 2 days graft and 3 days sightseeing. Lovely place. Shedd aquarium, Sears tower the lot.
Managed to bang a Canadian girl who was also on business staying at our hotel. Loved my accent and everything. Great time.

She said to me "have you ever been to America before?" I said "no, but i've been in a few states"
British humor, you can't beat it.

Must be something about the Chicago air because i also had a good time there!!

When British Midland introduced their Manchester-Chicago route early in 2001 I won two return tickets in a competition. I made plans to use them that December. A lot of time was spent researching and excitement levels grew as the time neared. My shopaholic missus had her heart set on the 'Magnificent Mile' for Christmas shopping. The week before our departure date a family crisis prevented us from going. Unfortunately the flights had to be used before the end of the year and BM wouldn't extend the deadline. I was absolutely gutted. The Manchester-Chicago service ceased this January but one day I really do want to get there.

Love the Greek islands for a nice,relaxing,holiday.Cyprus is a beautiful island and has fond memories for me.City breaks are actuallly more appealing to me though,been to some wonderful places down the years.Last couple of years i've got into visiting the German Christmas markets and love them.

Great place indeed.. Off in August...Even has a City bar tucked away down a side st...
