lynyrd skynyrd were an amazing live act and i went into manchester to buy the live album the day it came out, but it didn't reflect their performances, it was quite poor

Not sure if already mentioned as I'm too lazy to read all of the posts. But surely Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense should be mentioned. Truly one of the greats. I don't tend to listen to live albums, but this one I come back to time and again.
