Favourite Live Albums.

To me live albums are much better than the original dreary mainstream releases for the masses, here are my favourite two.

Lots of anger from Ali on this one which made it a classic from the era followed by:

The original that was released was crap but Live "I know its over" is beyond doubt a triumph.

Always thought SLF - Jonny Was , was written by them , I’ve just played Bob Marley’s original . It’s not a patch on Stiff Little Fingers version . PS still love Bob though

Yes written by the legend that is Bob Marley about a chap in Kingston, Johnny Was by SLF live as I said was so good because Jake Burns sang it as an emotional and angry man, perfect combination.

I prefer the live version of smoke to the studio one (more meat to the riff) but I'm not too concerned about comparisons to studio versions as to whether they are great live albums.

Brilliant Album . The sad thing on my part is I’ve never been to see them , but when this virus is all over I’m gonna try and rectify that.
