Favourite tools

I have got a 10mm ring spanner which I've had for about fifteen years which I'm quite fond of, for some reason.

Special mentions also to a pair of Knipex side cutters I've had fo a while, and my 18'' Stillys.

Should also probably mention a nice Stanley Fat Max non-retractable knife which is a joy to use, but isn't allowed on sites any more.

I went into Aldi for a tap and die set they were advertising sometime last year. As I got to the till I place it and the few bits I'd bought on the conveyor belt and the guy in front spotted it. He asked me where they were and dashed off to get one whilst his wife packed their shopping away.
He came back with one and was like a little kid with a giant bag of sweets. I asked him if he really needed it and he said through the biggest smile I've seen for a while, 'Not really but I haven't got one of these and I've always wanted one'
His wife made some comment and he snapped 'When you stop buying clothes you'll never wear I'll stop buying tools I'll never use' She sort of nodded her head from side to side in a fair enough way.

Mines still in the shrink wrap.

Had my Dewalt 2nd fix nail gun nick off site on Monday, Gutted !!

got some wire strippers that tension themselves.absolute god send. Otherwise any kind of power tool. love em lol
