Favourite Tracks - considering bass

Apologies to Bluetangerine, but your idea is a good one, and therefore needs stealing. Drums are good, but I just love bass.

One of my favourite bass lines is The Police and 'So Lonely' - just so simple, but absolutely stunning.

On the other side of bass, I love Diesel Power by Prodigy - nearly fuck my speakers over when that track is on.

Strangely enough, I also like the bass sound on Superman - but then again, I love everything about that track.

Oh, and the double bass on Lou Reed's 'Street Hassle'.

Also day tripper by the Beatles and although not bass, smoke on the water was one of the first songs I learnt on bass, playing the guitar bit on one.

This guy needs a mention, as does flea from the red hot chilli peppers. Behold Victor wooten;
