Although not a City one,my all time favourite volley goal has to be Alan Mullerys,for Fulham in the 1970`s.The ball came in from a left hand cross and he hit it with such power from outside the area that the camera man was nearly caught off guard.
If anyone can find it and post it,you may well agree with me.

My absolute favourite.

I don't know why, but the way Bell seems to watch it come through the air, as if in slow motion, it reminds me of Escape to Victory when Bobby Moore knocks it over for Pele's overhead kick.

It's just beautiful.

I was lucky to be at his testimonial with my dad but never saw him play really.

The first time I saw that volley, I thought fucking hell, so that's Colin Bell.

Late 70's, one of my first games, Dennis Tueart hit a volley at the Platt Lane end and I was sat on the first row, right behind the goal. I can still remember the noise as the ball hit the net and my wonderment as the noise exploded around me. Not a great goal but one of my favourites.
