Most certainly. I can understand one of the tournaments "awarded" going to the Middle East. The fact that the Euro's were just shared by Poland and the Ukraine is taking the piss. I know Poland/Ukraine isn't Russia, but the Euro's are a major tournament, broadcasted around the world. The last World Cup here was in 1994. Since then we have started a new league from scratch that is making major headway 15+years on. If Septic Blatter wants to "better the game" he would surely want to go to a country with a huge potential fanbase and $$$$$ to spend rather than a country with limited population but rich owners/princes that can build stadiums for the event. Mind you stadiums that are already built here in the United States. Whose pockets are you lining? Your own, piss off.

I can see only these as proper countries (for culture, history, passion, football knownledge, cities) to hold a world cup final stage: Italy, England, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Argentina and Usa.

In Quatar i can see the maximum espression of corruption, maybe even better than has happened in Korea/Japan 2002, where Korea reached the finals with loads of dodgy referee's decisions.

I agree. The US had their chance, and staged a very good tournament, and football has developed well in the country since then. The game was "bettered" after 94. If you want to send it somewhere to 'better the game', Australia would have been the perfect location. Football is really growing in Oceania, and having a World Cup in that continent would be a huge boost for the region as a whole. The infrastructure, and stadiums are all in place, it will take place in winter, so no heat issues, and popularity of the game. It ticks all the boxes. I don't agree with Qatar getting it. If it had to go to a Middle Eastern country, Turkey would be the most ideal one.
