FC Copenhagen (A) | Post Match Thread

He got a new contract and has been phoning it in ever since. Unacceptable to be as lazy and unprofessional in a blue shirt as he has been all season. Even the manager has called him out publicly on the latter. Called him unfit and overweight.
Even before the penalty shambles tonight he was the worst player on the pitch.
This is a small squad and we can’t carry passengers
Yes he has a new baby in the house but lets face it, he is a multi millionaire who has married into a family of multi millionaires
Nannies, cleaners, servants, the lot
My mate also has a new baby in the house but I bet Mahrez isn’t having to get up at 4am like him for a shift on the post
Would agree on everything, but I would argue that he was shit at the end of last season as well, so his slump pre-dates him signing the contract.

Guardiola shouldn’t have played him tonight and it was a good opportunity to give Palmer a game.

Mahrez is not up to it this season. We'd have battered them with 11. Alvarez didn't look like a no. 9. Gundogan bad game. Grealish fouled into oblivion.gomez was naive. That's about it.

Mahrez would be too lazy to get up.

Worth considering 3 CB at weekend I think. Akanji doesn't get forwards enough at RB, we looked limited that side (though that full well may just be down to Mahrez being the one in front of him). I think playing two wing backs might give us a little more dynamism

No, it’s a professional sport where sometimes circumstances mean that entertainment comes second to grinding out a result.

Some of iyr fanbase when we don’t win comfortably are fucking doolally. Haha!
I can take any result as long as I get entertained. That tonight was utter dross.
