Horrible game. We could have lost quite easily. I feel sorry for the blues that travelled to see that. Think we should have performed better than that with ten men. Some very sloppy passing and lack of movement to support the ball carrier.

Alcohol is great for blotting things out mate, we did it(got drunk) many years before we starting winning anything. I expect they'll all be on the piss now singing songs having a good night.

Rodrli's goal should have stood, utter joke to be ruling that out.

The defender misses the header, and ffs grazes the ball while trying to pull his hand away, almost impossible from that range not to get a slight touch.

I remember something similar where the ref's decision was:

1: Were the opposition affected by the handball?

2: Did we benefit from it?

It has to be a clear no on each count, & to be fair the ball spun away from Mahrez, meaning the defender went from standing little chance of getting to the ball, to no chance of getting it.

I knew it'd be chalked off because of the importance of the next action which was Rodri's stunning opener...

Guardiola calling out Mahrez on his fitness and condition means fuck all if he keeps on picking him. Why would Mahrez pull his finger out if he’s starting every week?

Mahrez looked a bit better on Saturday, but Palmer put that into perspective given how he tortured that full back when he came on.

I can take any result as long as I get entertained. That tonight was utter dross.

Will you take maybe 5/6 of those a season compared to the other 50 which is invariably above anything seen in the modern era?

Serve up the dross is what I say as it’s a small mercy with what we witness 99% of the time!
