Kick off time 20:00 (GMT). Live on TNT for those in the UK.

3-1 up on aggregate.

Get it won, get players off and rested for Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool are in Prague on the Thursday so no reason to be more tired than them going into that one.

Pep will go strong, he always does in the Champions League but if I had to guess.

----------------Ederson
Walker--Akanji--Ake--Gvardiol
------------Kovacic--Rodri
Nunes-----------Foden--------Doku
-----------------Alvarez

Get 2 first half goals, get Walker, Ake, Rodri and Foden off ASAP.

Ederson
Walker
Akanji
Dias
Gvardiol/Lewis
Rodri
Kovačić
Foden
Bernardo
Alvarez
Haaland

Bernardo being played into the ground (and he naturally plays himself into the ground, by the way). Should be totally rested against Copenhagen. We should be able to do the job without him. We got 70-80% of the job done in Denmark. Kev and Rodri, too: in for the first half, get a goal, then get them off. Want them all fresh for Anfield.
Erling doesn't need resting. This part of the season is meat and drink to him. He can go on and on.

You know very well Pep doesn’t see it that way

This.

He knows Liverpool have a relatively small squad at the moment and will likely have to play the near on the same team away in Prague on Thursday as the one on Sunday.

I think it will be the same team that started today but with Kovacic and Alvarez coming in.

No way Pep takes this game lightly! Hopefully get another couple of goals and then rest players but he’ll go strong in this to begin with imo.

Ederson
Walker
Akanji
Ake
Gvardiol
Rodri
Kovacic
Foden
Bernardo
Alvarez
Haaland

As long as we score a goal we will go through

Play full strength within reason, and make changes after 60 minutes

Have some of you lot been asleep for 8 years? League Cup aside, Pep never, and I mean never goes light in knockout football, especially CL football. Nor should he. Some goons think we should go light. What like we did at Newcastle in the League Cup you mean? If we did and they score first or we get an unlucky early red card its fucking game on and were under pressure big time and would have to pull our tripe out to try and secure the game, leaving us fucked to play those feral cunts on Sunday.

Well go as strong as possible I suspect with Alvarez, and one of Kova and Nunes coming in. I suspect Kev is rested but may get a cameo.

The plan will be score first and early. Suck the life out their fresh legs and hopefully get a second before half time, winning the game effectively and then ring the changes. If we concede first somehow we will have the personnel on the field to put it right.
