Wow it's absolutely unbelievable, do you think it's worth putting our principles aside for a couple years to get straight again? Don't get me wrong it's gut wrenching to even contemplate such drastic measures, but this is ours, and while is admirable people have started putting into the DF again, I'll be doing the same after Christmas. We're clearly in need of a cash injection. Maybe we need to cash in on Glynn's good form quickly too

Oh how the standard bearers of principles and non league football have fallen ycmiu

There home game in the cup was called off just after 2pm fans not happy also more money lost :) got to feel sorry for them lol

"how twitter reads...ref has a look, the ref spots ice, the lighting rig goes up, the game gets called off.

do we still have a full time groundsman & an assistant? do they not work a match day to notice the ice before the ref and therefore have more time to attempt to do something about it?"

"How much did we spend on those covers? How much do we pay the groundsman?

I'm fucking fuming."

Non league football been around 120 odd years - Moston Rag Socks 12 years ......
standard bearers of principles.... the only principles the board members had was how much could they screw out of the club / members!

And yet the fans are falling for it again, being asked for more monthly donations, more buckets passed around, more raffles etc. Don't they realize they are just throwing good money after bad?
How many non league teams make a profit? It's flogging a dead horse after the previous board members ran away with the winnings.
As I said, some genuine fans with great intentions were involved but they got shafted big time by people with their own agendas and bulging pockets.
Punk football? Yes.... with Malcolm McClaren well and truly in charge! It's a swindle! Cash from Chaos!

Someone at Manchester city council should be sacked for getting involved with this club to the great financial extent that they did.

I always thought if it was a fans owned club that the finances would be transparent? How can a club who get 2500 for conference north matches be in danger of going under?

With the stadium being built fans were swept away under a ring of euphoria and took their eye off the financial ball and trusting that those running the club were doing so as appointed.
Sadly that trust was abused and I gather there were 6 paid employees on 30k or more.... all mates of prominent people within the club.
Ask yourself how many non playing staff to Alty, Curzon, Ashton United, Stalybridge and Hyde United employ?
Probably isn't 6 between them!

Also you can't give 3000 members access to full financial details including things like wages and how much sponsorships are worth etc otherwise it hinders you when renewing contracts if word is out how much the previous employer or sponsor paid etc.
