Used to work off Dumers lane and walked past the two pubs on junction of Manchester road and Parkhills road when the tramps played at Gigg lane on my way home and always wore a City shirt to wind the cunts up.

The issue is the reported £2m debt they have which was a legacy of the Champagne Socialists running, er, ruining the club. The debt may be less now but not significantly.
That is crippling them. They have one of the lowest wage structures in the league due to the debt so any decent player at that level will get offered more to play elsewhere. They get left with the crumbs.
