FC United thread

My rag supporting mate just sent me this from their ask the board bollocks turns out that their board don’t plan to form a formal relationship with our players playing for them & us paying their wages they wouldn’t say no to our players playing for them free of charge next season.

Our keeper has been one of their best players and they’re still at the bottom of the league, imagine how fucked they’d have been if we hadn’t helped them out

I have visited several non-League grounds over the last 20 years.
It is an enjoyable way of watching football with little stress, as often I am a neutral.
There are a busy band of volunteers who usually sacrifice watching the match to enable their team survive (bar staff, working on turnstiles, selling programmes & raffle tickets, catering, sometimes selling merchandise etc.).
This group of people know a lot of what goes on at their club. They know many of their attendees, often their names.
Despite never going to Pallet Park, I'm sure the FCUM volunteers will know many of these 13 rogues.
Let's see if the club or GMP get to the bottom of this ?

I was hoping that the shithouse I work with who I made reference to earlier in this thread was one of the faces. But then if he had been involved he would have brought it up in the office and the story would have grown immensely. Along the lines of "my two mates and I took on 50 of their lot" etc...
