FC United thread

Turns out their best player downed tools & didn’t want to play for them, so they had to accept a low offer.

Despite owing loads to the council a board member confirmed that they won’t be using any unexpected windfall paying Manchester taxpayers back but will spunk it on footballers instead

Piss-taking tossers.
When will the MCC board member have some influence on paying back the debt ?
Cannot see MCC getting a penny back, unfortunately.
Let's hope they get relegated this season, as more good players will leave then...

You never know, we could be relegated 6 leagues and be playing the Rag Socks, Hyde United and Ashton United next season!

Edit.... or maybe 7 leagues to play at Pallet Park - as hopefully they'll go down this season ha ha

Away at Hyde on Saturday who they've already lost to this season in the FA Cup
That's a dilemma, if we were to be relegated so far down that we were in the same league as the splitters, would you go to the away game???

City fans should refuse to pay the club for tickets but arrange (via the council’s representatives on the board) that the ticket money goes direct to the council to pay off the debt

Turned a corner / they are back! (Apply as applicable)
New manager syndrome?
Fair play to the rag socks in beating Hyde 3-2 away
Is there a win bonus?
Are the thieving twunts going to pay back some of the debt to the council.
Or if so, does it go in the already bulging back pockets of the current set of thieves along with their council tax payers hard earned?

Interesting news yesterday, the latest round of bucket shaking has raised £30 grand to go towards paying off their debts. £25k was donated last year & £5k this year. They’ve now made a payment of £10k, a mere drop in the ocean. The money did not go to the council. Their fans are now asking why it’s taken so long when the interest has been building & why they’ve only paid off £10 grand from £30k donations that were supposedly ring fenced to go towards paying off the debt.

Theft & corruption in plain sight.
Someone at pallet park must have some pretty incriminating photos.
The brass neck on finally paying only 10k towards a 900k debt when they’ve proudly announced they’ve raised 30k is breathtaking.
Thieving bastards.

These light fingered cunts remind of them Big issue sellers. You know the ones, they want your 2 quid but they don't want to give you a Big Issue because it's(apparently)their last one.

Some of the fans that had donated to a fund specifically ring fenced for paying off debts that hasn’t been used to pay off debts as they were so short of cash over the summer aren’t happy, the board are having to explain it again

Meanwhile whilst still not having paid off a penny to Manchester City council over the last couple of years & not being able to pay off any debts with £20 grand specifically donated to pay their debts as they were so short of cash their board decided to increase the playing budget to pay for journeyman striker le fondre in a gamble which is not paying off (he’s got 4 from 13 games & one of those was a penalty) & the board’s expectation that the crowds would increase clearly hasn’t worked either.

The board approved an extra £15 grand, so far the boost the budget bucket shaking is on target to raise just £3grand for the year. All this went on in the summer while they moan about modern football, the money in the game whilst simultaneously announcing this years 3 new playing kits are for sale.

The question below is from their ask the board, the top bit is from a disgruntled red, the bold is the board’s sanctimonious response

Angela will be very mad at me for posting that member’s only information. So please all be very responsible and don’t send the Fc board member any unwanted emails & don’t sign him up for any unwanted marketing spam emails to the email address paul.hurst@fc-utd.uk
Yes. I dropped a proper bollock a few weeks back and had to beg for my post to be removed.
Ric obliged.
Seems that the thieving cunts don’t like the truth getting out there.
GLW wasn’t best pleased ( she’d unwittingly got me the info!)
They have stolen hundreds of thousands from the Council Tax Paying Manchester people.
A vanity project that has ripped off the public purse effectively since its inception - questions really need to be asked at a government level.

The latest board documents show a new deal to restructure the councils loan has been agreed & now just needs the members voting to approve it at the upcoming club meeting.

They also talk about this years car crash of academy recruitment saying they’ve only recruited 47 students & anything under 50 allows the education provider to walk away or renegotiate the deal, the board mused over scrapping the failing girls academy but decided that would be bad for their reputation.

In football matters the board reveal how they sacked a manager two days after giving him a vote of confidence & had a great result by only having to spend £8k on severance (they could have moved him on for free & given the new manager the preseason but stupidly extended his contract in January even though most of their fans wanted him out) Still it’s not like it’s their money they’re playing with is it?

The board think the women’s team have made a reasonable start to the new season after getting relegated last year, they currently sit second bottom having played 8, winning 1, drawing 2 & losing 5 but beat a team from a lower league in the cup.

Shut the fuck up and sign up for the £15 a month direct debit scheme. Then they only need another 249 mugs to follow suit ;)
