Monday's Board meeting was just about ratifying it.

Marginson volunteered to go over a week ago, but in true Andy Walsh style, demanded he had to be paid off to do so - hence the "mutual consent" line in the club's statement.

No wonder he could say: "it’s a special football club and one that will always hold a place in my heart." Who wouldn't feel like that after being handed a minimum £10,000?

The club was only obliged to pay 3 months' notice, so let's hope this "deal" didn't waste too much more of members' precious funds

The M&S funding is for LED lighting in the bar area and that only. I assume the club will have to install it first and then submit an invoice to M&S with evidence it is in place.
M&S would be extremely daft to simply give a debt laden semi professional football club the money upfront in the hope they raise the other x amount they need before carrying out the refurbishment of the bar.
