That is disgraceful journalism. I had not read that before and now it just makes me laugh. Margetson 'used to be a milkman', well at least he has a career to fall back on now. A club that has built a reputation on thuggery and theft is lauded as the way forward. Well they are not making too many steps in the forward direction now are they.

One of their board members outlines future payments they have to pay - the club claims to 'be different', but they are just like Big United.... in debt with deadlines to pay up or find new money to pay old money
We are generating more and more revenue but it certainly needs to increase but not for the football reasons Karl suggests. With our debt it is a matter of survival not spending more to go up the leagues. Remember that by 2020 we need to be in a position to pay back MCC £100k a year for 5 years. Before that the loan stock must be repaid and let's not forget over £2 million in Community Shares.

i was saying it for a good year about salford city with a merge but speaking to somebody about salford plans they are going in a different way they are looking for professional football within 3 to 5 years and fcum are so much in debt to everybody and why should salford help them out when the hate from fans hahahaah
fcum will need to hit some very big targets this season never mind 2020 and the club is letting in water and sinking fast and the fans are going back to united more and more a fan base club should have never been given so much money as loans from the council and others they was never going to repay them and one bad season and its close to the wind really what have fcum done for moston and the people other than taking the piss out of them
