Which is what I'd rather see
If they go down, they're a very big fish in a small pond so plenty of glory hunters would tag onto them, where as, if they're struggling or mid table mediocrity, then the crowd will just dwindle

The crowds have been dwindling for years anyhow regardless.

Think they would lose more getting relegated they get more through the gate now than they did when in the division below winning most games.
 
They've avoided relegation now with two games to spare after beating York last night
 
Ah well as the dippers say......there's always next year.

From our point of view, it might be better that the scummy bastards stay in the higher division.

The "glory-hunters" are less likely to attend matches involving a struggling team than they are to a team going well and winning more regularly.

Smaller attendances = less revenue.
