FC United thread

They managed a big win today. Despite moaning & shaking the buckets because they that they haven’t had any games for so long they finally got a Saturday home game & only got 1384 bother turn up to watch them
So a drop in 495 from their game on Boxing Day. Near 25% drop
Presumably Prescot Cables brought more than Morpeth? (Everton fans after the City game?) but however they look at it, the ship is sinking fast

On the subject of their fans embarrassing themselves. The board is very upset that one of their own created a bluesky account weeks ago, posted the kind of inane shite the official club accounts post and got a few hundred followers but turned out to be a spoof account that hates their old manager

Trawling back through the account there’s a couple of other posts that could have made the muppets think it wasn’t actually FC united. That it is one of their own makes it all the funnier. They’re fuming, a city fan couldn’t have wound them up better!

This Tuesday v Warringron Rylands….. a bit of shit weather and they’ll be pushed to get 1000 turn up.
Or worse, the game is called off with hours to go and the pies have arrived, programmes printed and other expenses incurred.

They got a draw tonight after Warrington scored an injury time equaliser. Drove past earlier & it looked a bit quiet seeing as it was the return of the former Manager & they’ve won their last 2 home games in style. They still only got 1168 through the doors.

Oof. That’s probably their worst crowd of the season and well below the elusive break-even (2k?)

Probably their worst home attendance ever for a proper 1st team league home game.
I wonder how many came over from Warrington?

You’re right, a quick look through here seems to indicate that was their worst ever home league crowd.

I don’t think Warrington Rylands travel well, or are much of a draw. The second smallest home crowd they’ve had seems to have been the same fixture last season!
