Fck the FA cup..

The FA cup should be a priority for any club. You will always get some managers who don't have the depth of talent who would welcome an early exit so they can concentrate on keeping out of the bottom three but with a few more robust away performances that shouldn't be our perspective. And to win the cup, I've always thought you only need to play well in one of the rounds and it needn't be the Final! Look at Pompey last year. Made a bugger of it in Europe but a perfect example of how to access European football.

We definitely have a chance, personally I believe we have every chance of beating anyone in the FA cup. In reality, Arsenal are shocking, Chelsea look very weak although they don't conceed much which helps in cup competitions and Liverpool aren't all that impressive bar that win at Newcastle. United... so god damn lucky four 1 - 0s in their last 5 games.

Offer me the FA Cup and 4th from bottom now, and I'd snap your hand off! Means European footy next season, which winning the waffa doesn't (winners don't qualify for next season's competition, I think). Plus, it would be a trophy (remember them?).

if you win uefa you qualify for the champions league in the earlier stages, means an additional round to qualify and if you dont you drop back into uefa
i'd take uefa over the fa cup
but i'd still try and win both

Absoloutely ridiculous thread.

The FA Cup is the best domestic competition in the world, anyone who syas they dont want to win it is a fool!

I just don't want any stupid replays conjesting next few months when our priority is surley to get out of the relegation fight WE ARE IN and concentrate on that fight and europe. I mean Nottingham forest on a freezing cold afternoon which makes the chances of injuries more from the weather and tackling of teams wanting to make headlines, i just think we can do without all this shit in the situation we are in.
