Walk out of the far end, rather than near the taxis. Stay next to the tram line. Walk straight up the street, through Shudehill Interchange, then cross the road beyond the tram stop. It's right in front of you. :-)

I'm shy too. Maybe we should have a get together just for shy BM'ers where we meet up in a pub but all sit at different tables on our own and then after a few drinks we pluck up the courage to say 'hello' in passing.

That's a shame Bob, I am very shy but as I have to be in Manchester to pick something up I thought why not make the effort, would have been nice to meet you
 
I wish I was going today but have got 3 little girls to look after all day. Hope you all have a great time and I will make every effort for the next one.

Someone have a pint of the 'Manchester Pale Ale' for me. Love that stuff.
