From Victoria, where exactly is the pub?
Sorry for being dim although this has probably been covered in the last eighty-odd pages, my surfing time is now very limited at work!
Walk out of the far end, rather than near the taxis. Stay next to the tram line. Walk straight up the street, through Shudehill Interchange, then cross the road beyond the tram stop. It's right in front of you. :-)

(That okay?)
Spot on! Thanks AG
Bet you never get lost!
:)

That's a shame Ms Bob as I'm sure many were looking forwards to meeting you. I'd loved to have shared a beer with you (you're one of my favourites) but I'm not going too.

I'm with you all in spirit today

Is Jim Beam to blame?

Yes, but I'd rather have a Jim beam hangover than a wine hangover

-- Sat Feb 01, 2014 10:42 am --

Are you working ??

No, I'm feeling rather fragile today. I'm going to try and make the next one but I'm shy

I'm shy too. Maybe we should have a get together just for shy BM'ers where we meet up in a pub but all sit at different tables on our own and then after a few drinks we pluck up the courage to say 'hello' in passing.

I thought that was what we were doing.

You mean I'm going to have to actually talk to people?

I feel sick.

That's a shame Bob, I am very shy but as I have to be in Manchester to pick something up I thought why not make the effort, would have been nice to meet you

I wish I was going today but have got 3 little girls to look after all day. Hope you all have a great time and I will make every effort for the next one.

Someone have a pint of the 'Manchester Pale Ale' for me. Love that stuff.

Just a heads up - think there are works going on the trams today, replacement buses etc

Thanks for that BBB - I will now revise my travel plans and get the train to Piccadilly instead..

No trams from Alty to Piccadilly - bus service instread
