February player of the month

Bosnian fans voted for him, obviously. I wish for him to succeed, but there are players who deserved it more than him this time.

I don't think it's fair that the bosnians are just voting for Dzeko when most of them don't even watch the games. The award shouldn't be for your favourite player it should be for the best player that month, Dzeko played well but he definitely wasn't the best.

Listen gents - you are completely right. Bare in mind though that Bosnians are people known for pride and patriotism - and having one of their favourite players in TOP league of the world = objectivity out the window (in many cases) :-)

So for the sake of fairness - the best would be to either take Edin off the list in certain cases, or somehow count the Bosnian votes out in certain cases :-).

What you are wrong about though is the part 'they dont even watch the games' :-) It would be really interesting to somehow see the statistics on City game viewers in Bosnia over the last two months. For example tonight. I will make a bold statement and say that about 80% of football fans in Bosnia now follow any City game they can catch...and that is a lot of viewers :-). Kinda like champions league games, but with more passion since our favorite kid is in them :-). You cant make that up :-)

Not justifying, just actually agreeing with him - cause our fans do have the tendency (and you know this as well) to do this kind of thing. Say, if Edin had a terrible month - I bet he'd still be up there with the votes :-).

Convince me of what exactly?
I was stating a fact that bosnians are going to vote for Dzeko every month wheather he's good or bad. How do you think the other players feel when they play better than him yet he wins player of the month? Just voting for him dosn't help the team in any way, It probably dosn't help Dzeko either knowing he gets the award when he dosn't deserve it.

The poll on this thread clearly shows that City fans believe the best players were Richards, Kompany and Silva. All I'm saying is vote for the best player that month, voting for Dzeko every month helps no one.

@ EaglesFan do you see what i mean? There is an low limit with "fake facts". You have to use them till they flush the Toilet. After that it goes till the "teamspirit damage", deserved or not.
