No midfield no defence no leadership on the park today’s performance was a disgrace yet again the defence sucked no they were worse than that if they had sucked they would have been at least sucking. It’s becoming a habit it’s becoming terrible to watch so terrible it’s sad.
Yet again we could not hold on to a lead. Silly penalty given away and the ever disappearing defence well disappeared along with the mid field.
Eleven individuals not playing as a team.
Questions have to be asked of the management I say that with past results in mind when we should have closed shop and defended.
Nothing seemed to have been learned from past games. We have gotten worse rather than better. Who the hell is in charge?

thank fuck i only got to watch the second half 90mins would have just killed me , yesterday in matchday forum i even said too many people were saying we will thrash them and i said i could see us drawing or losing but if we started good we could win..we were awful:/

I've said it before and after every game since we've switched formation, 4-4-2 simply doesn't work and needs to be dropped. No invention, which is probably due to the total lack of movement, we play with wingers and have somebody as lethal in the air as Ade yet don't put in a single decent cross for him all game and then when we finally bring on the best crosser of the ball we have in Petrov he's put on the right where he's never going to put in a whipped ball. Seems as though we play 4-4-2 to accomodate certain players.

Tevez isn't doing anything in a 4-4-2 formation, He comes too deep and because the likes of Ireland can't get in the box every single time because of his defensive duties there's nothing in the box. Bellamy has been on fire at the beginning of the season and i know he scored today but he's been very quiet for the past month or so, Petrov is currently the better option on the left. Things need to change after the internationals, it's not a knee jerk reaction to todays result it's more the performances of the last 5 games. Not once since playing 4-4-2 have we played anywhere near the level we were at playing the 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation we just haven't looked like winning a game and in truth have been lucky to take the 5/15 points we have got. Sort it out Hughes.
