Feelings about Wednesday?

I am both Confident and fearful in equal measures and so I am using the following logical arguement.

In my 41 years as a supporter they have won far more Derby's than we have. However,

They never beat us to win the Premiership.

They never beat us to send us down. Denis Law back heel.

They never beat us in a Semi Final. Francis Lee's free kick.

Now then when Robbie Fowler missed the penalty against the Smoggies it meant we didn't go in the Eufa Cup. It didn't mean we lost a Semi final or got Relegated - therefore Logic states that the next really vital Penalty goes in.

By the same token - if we lose to the Scum now in a couple of years we might beat them in the Final at Wembley or a semi Final in the Champions League - because that is where we are going long term.

My Heart says this is ours for the taking. My brain says its 50/50.

Dentist and the derby in one day, I don't think my nerves can take anymore although I am quite confident with our attacking ability and improved defensive ability.

If we're victorious but we don't win by at least two, it'll feel like a defeat.

If we do get beaten or even draw, I'll be practically suicidal.

Would be nice but considering we haven't beat any premier league team by 4 goals this season, it just isn't going to happen.

2 very close games that could go either way but City to narrowly get to the final.

I am nervous as fuck we need at least a 2 goal cushion to take to the swamp 3 1 should do it with away goals not counting in this

COME ON CITY

I'm confident we will win. If we were Leeds yesterday, they would have lost by bigger margin.
