Feels oh so GOOD

Is it just me or do others on here sense a better feel around our beloved club, a winning mentality finally starting to emerge?

Players that were unhappy seem happier, playing with a smile on their face. The tactics seem better, more flexible and changes being made before things go wrong. We seem to be playing as a team now, rather than as individuals.

The coaching is better; the players seem to know what is expected of them and get on it. Mancini actually goes to the training pitch and leads the training. The defence looks so much tighter now, players keeping their positions and all this with a temporary defensive line up, no need time to gel excuses.

The manager can be seen directing the team from the touchline during the game and even celebrating when we score with a smile and a punch of the air, showing real commitment, real passion, real leadership and camaraderie with players and supporters.

This manager does not spend half his time criticising and blaming the players; in fact he even praised Benjani on the OS video interview after yesterday’s game. Mancini has a smile and a twinkle in his eye and is so very positive. The whole atmosphere is so much better.

We can even play away from home in the first round proper of the FA Cup with those players that we were repeatedly told were ‘not good enough’ and go though easily. Man U tried this today and fell on their face at home. All of a sudden it feels really good to be a City lifelong fan once again; it feels as if we really are on our way up and up.

No player is bigger than this manager; his smile is matched by his cutting edge, Robinho beware.

Mancini is the first Manager since the 70s that has made such a positive impression on me. For the first time in 30+ years I am filled with optimism. The swamp is in decline and we are on the rise, irrespective of the outcome of the CC Cup Semi-Final, time to order the Trophy Cabinets now.

its great is'nt it, the bit for me is we have no fear, i dont care who, when or where we play nothing fazes me.

its been a long time since i felt like this so i am going to enjoy all the more.

helped by the removal of hughes, never wanted him in the first place.

(that bits a lie)

I think football fans only think in extremes.

We've beat Stoke, Wolves and Boro, and had a similar (better) run at the start of the season under Hughes.

This, if he lasts a season and follows the "plan" anything can happen.

Spot on. I think it helps that the owners have finally got a manager that they wanted , rather than hughes, as no no player, not even robinho is more important than bobby manc, and too right

Well DeNiro I always suspected you were the underground leader of the Hughes out campaign. Honestly I would even accept SAF if he broughtsuccess to my beloved club, but for now Mancini is the man, he is the best.

Could not have asked for any more. 3 clean sheets and seeing games out. All that Hughes needed to address but was unable to do so. Mancini has done it quicker than I imagined possible. I am totally won over.

Forward with Bobby Manc!

Never mind that, it's his overall performance that has been impressive. THE most charismatic City manager of all time.
