I really do think its time that the officials and or the FA come out and state why descions and bans were made. Because at the moment it's a made to measure punishment system.
At our last RA meeting a very prominent ex ref and assessor said that in his view Halsey should no longer be reffing at this level as he was no longer applying the laws of the game. He said it was Halsey's law. Pointed out at least 3 blatant red card offences when Halsey didn't even issue a card at all. One involved a City game where Tevez was brought down and the defender was last man. Gave us a penalty but no card, but i cannot remember which game it was.BlueTG said:Been out of depth all this year and last season, needs demoting or to retire I'm afraid.quiet_riot said:Halsey has said he saw the other headbutt, elbow and the faceslap, but deemed none of them punishable?

He also has failed to pass the fitness test for this season along with one other rotund referee who still gets high profile matches in the Premiership.
Yeah it was Halsey, had a few 'what the fuck' moments in the last year he has.lafitz2008 said:richardtheref said:At our last RA meeting a very prominent ex ref and assessor said that in his view Halsey should no longer be reffing at this level as he was no longer applying the laws of the game. I'm right in thinking it was Halsey who gave the Fulham non-penalty aren't I ?
What a fucking ludicrous decision that was !
Well said that man - he obviously didn't see them because they were all bookable offences and he did nothing - therefore he lied (what's new there).quiet_riot said:Halsey has said he saw the other headbutt, elbow and the faceslap, but deemed none of them punishable?
Hang your whistle up, Mark.
