Build a bonfire!I'm not paying anybody for it!! haha. The wood and cement has just cost me 300. I might make a den with it.

This is important with wood posts. We also used a heat gun to shrink wrap some sort of protective plastic thing around the bottom of the posts which apparently makes the posts last a lot longer.
Yeah...I think I'll hire the nail gun. The fence will have around 30 slats (not the featherboard type though)...it's not that long....about a 12 foot fence. I've had to buy a big metal crow bar/breaker bar to smash through concrete and bricks to make the holes. Hard work.I did my parents a few years ago because my dad's back's wrecked, about 240m of fencing all in. If the garden is relatively flat it's not hard but it's time consuming and boring.
Hiring a petrol auger and a cordless nail gun saved me days. We also used a heat gun to shrink wrap some sort of protective plastic thing around the bottom of the posts which apparently makes the posts last a lot longer.
We did featherboarding which I'm guessing is what you're referring to. Dig the post holes 2 feet deep, 8 feet apart. Add a gravelboard and 2 cross rails and then get ready to hammer in a few thousand featherboards.
Christ, got a bit of a job on there then?Yeah...I think I'll hire the nail gun. The fence will have around 30 slats (not the featherboard type though)...it's not that long....about a 12 foot fence. This is gonna sound really nerdy but before and after pictures will be well received, not least by me.
Absolutely xOf me?

Make sure you've got a spirit level, a good clean sharp spade and pay attention to the concrete/mortar mix. Lots of videos on YouTube to help with hints and to motivate you.
Good luck mate!
