His whole style re City has changed since the pressure applied to BT from City fans.
He is much more neutral now & very little of the snideyness, sometimes even quite enthusiastic.
It all suggests to me, that they were following policy in the past.

The thing is though, Ferdinand seems completely comfortable with it.
It's as if he is now just being honest about what he sees, good or bad, wheras last season he was playing to the crowd, but not our crowd.
