The comments on here prove how arrogant United fans are. Juventus a step down? Same team won league unbeaten and won the Italian cup. United won nothing! Pogba is joining another giant of Europe and will live in a nicer country. You have one life and live it the way you feel is best for you. It's not like he owes United anything, after all Le Havre put the real work in.

What respect is he supposed to show? He's out of contract, he can leave. He owes them nothing. As long as he didn't actually say ''haha laters cunts, I'm off'' and flob on the window as he walked off flicking the V's he's pretty much shown the requisite amount of respect.

To be honest, if he slapped the roof of ferguson's car and shat on mike phelan's scalp he'd have shown them more respect than they deserved.

Don't get the hype with this, I bet Pogba amounts to nothing more than decent. United will hardly suffer, even though it's obvious they are annoyed to lose a youth prospect.

Pogba left after united refused to pay him (sort of), if he played one more game then united would have had to double his wages in accordance with his contract. They even removed his 'peg' from the first team changing room.

Do they have a clothes line in the dressing room at the swamp?

That's an interesting theory and would add up pretty well, maybe not the peg bit though.

It's more to do with the way it's famously backfired. United put a lot of effort into convincing everyone Morrison and Pogba were the best of the new golden generation, the press typically lapped it up and had everyone ready for the next superstars to emerge from the famous United academy. Turned out one was a fucking loon and they can't even convince the other to stay. It's brilliant.
