Re: Fergie 5 Match touchline ban....

Has anyone at MUTV lost their job yet?

makes very little difference to be honest...he can still send msgs to the bench saying what he wants from the stands and he can get his staff to intimidate the officials as well.

will have no impact on them whatsoever

the only way to stop this sprt of behaviour by managers (and players) is to deduct points...that would make them think twice about the things they say!

Obviously I'd support a points penalty. The point is, when the FA roll out their Respect initiative it seems to apply to all levels of footbal except the guys at the top. The ref (quite rightly) had a quiet word with Carlito on Sunday and pointed at the 'respect' arm-band. Double standards apply. Punish the persistent offenders properly, stop the bullying intimidation of officials and teachthe TW*Ts a lesson.

the fa should do a select-a-seat layout of each stadium involved in the sspension and let the nation decide which seat he sits in for the five games.
sort of a "vote baconface into the city end" type thing.
Quite the best idea I have heard for some time - if only it would happen.

Re: Fergie 5 Match touchline ban....

Talking of Taggart he stopped off at Sainsbury`s last week after the defeat at Liverpool, he brought 2 bottles of whisky( large ) I think to soften the pain, when he got to the check out the cashier said "Hi Mr Ferguson will you be donating to comic relief this year ?" He replied "will i shite". Next minute she looked up and looked at him straight in the eye and said " Put the fucking red nose back then you fucking tight bastard"

MCFC OK

A points deduction would be too strong just for asking a ref to do what they are paid to do properly. Managers shouldn't need reasons to critisise refs, but if they're making so many mistakes in 90, surely someone should say something? Or should we all continue being content at referees' abject displays?
