It's an honest assessment by Fergie in the sense that when he was at United there was Ronaldo, Rooney, and Berbaflop, and lets be honest here, Ronaldo and Rooney were above him in the pecking order no matter what formation or system United played, I think Tevez must have been seriously put out by Berbaflop playing alot af games before him, however Fergie doesn't really answer the question fully, as anyone and I mean anyone can see that Tevez would walk into the current United side, and he is missed more, than anyone at United realised he woud be. The difference between Tevez at United and Tevez at City is, we play him in a system that suits him, where as at United he had to fit in a system more designed to Ronaldo. But Fergie goes on to mention they bid for Tevez but couldn't meet his owners estimation, which clearly indicates United wanted him.
