Fergy says City's treatment of Hughes is unacceptable

Well as much as I hate Fergie, he has a point.

The way we sacked Hughes was disgraceful..

THIS^^^^

It was handled badly. This cannot be denied, every single manager has said so. It was possibly the worst possible way it could have been done, I'm sure it is not how the club planned it, but then it leaked, and it was awful.

We have to admit it for what it was. Probably the right decision to do it, but not done the right way. Effectively all these managers probably knew he'd been sacked before he did thanks to the clubs half time announcement.

I can't believe fergiescum said it was "unacceptable".

"unashebabubble" yes, but never unacceptable.

Blah de fucking blah. Its football, it over, move on.

Maybe all those who are so aggrieved at this can sing a song for Hughes on Boxing Day. Cos there are so many to choose from....

He's right, city's treatment of hughes was embarrassing! and before anyone else tells me to "move-on" ...................i FUCKING have done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm distraught first that lovely young man Roy Keane now the much beloved father of premiership.

Fergie bangin on about speaking with Bruce and sparky over the last couple of days...
just goes to show once a Rag always a Rag
we are well rid of the useless fool

I know. I was thinking that exact same thing. Made me sick.

So it was presumably perfectly acceptable to slag off his former assistant manager, Brian Kidd, in his autobiography?
And perfectly acceptable to assault one of his star players by kicking or throwing something at him?
And to speak to Berbatov without permission?
And to question Alan Wiley's fitness and integrity?
And to regularly give mouthfuls of foul abuse to fourth officials?
And for this Bentley-driving armchair socialist to tell the people of Manchester that the unjustifiable congestion charge would be good for them?
And for the owners of his previously cash-rich club to plunge them into massive and crippling debt?

Well let's hope that when he finally gets the chop that it's done properly in accordance with his strongly held principles about what is right and wrong.

I wish I had a quid for the number of times football clubs have botched or been said to botch managerial dismissals. The fact of the matter is, there is no nice way to sack someone.
