Fernandinho - An upgraded Milner?

I know. But I sense that wouldn't be the case. Coz 1) we'd keep possession better, 2) we'd win the ball more in their half with Delph and Dihno biting at their heels the minute they get it.

On the right last night we saw a perfect balance of his ability and he actually gave the performance we've all been wanting Navas to produce from the same position for the last 2 seasons.

I agree. He is a good player. One of our better ones. He isn't a great player for me though playing in CM especially.

Good post. He is a really good player and one who I think still has a future next year under Pep. He is one of those players, much like Milner that would get a good amount of games in any team/squad due to their attitude and industry. Neither are world beaters, but you know what your going to get from them.

On the subject of Milner, I think he has been a huge loss for us this season. With the injuries we've had, his ability to play in numerous positions has been badly missed.
 
Would like to see more of Dinho out wide, reminded me especially of last season when Mourinho would always play Ramires on the right of midfield in "big games" and it worked well, as it allowed Fabregas to stray out of position to join attacks more safe in the knowledge that there was cover on both sides in Matic and Ramires.
And in a similar fashion it would make Yaya's forays forward less risky as we could have cover for him on either side to plug that gaping hole he often leaves in midfield...And Dinho is a much better player than Ramires is and would offer a lot more going forward.

A better player in every way. And a class act, which Milner proved himself not to be in the last 18 months of his time at City. I personally hope Dinho retires with us.

Yeah i agree he has been a loss. We've lost a little bit of solidarity and he helped with that.
 
So underrated it's a joke. One of the best players we've since the takeover. Great signing
